She specializes in microtia external ear reconstruction, ear deformity correction, comprehensive eye surgeries such as double eyelid surgery, eye bag removal, and brow lift, as well as aesthetic procedures including liposuction, fat grafting, and botulinum toxin injection.

Biography

Wang Bingqing, MD, graduated from the eight-year clinical medicine program of Peking Union Medical College (Tsinghua University School of Medicine). Since 2013, he has been working at the Center for External Ear Plastic Surgery and Reconstruction, Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

He has been engaged in clinical work in plastic and aesthetic surgery for more than 10 years and has performed nearly 10,000 plastic and aesthetic surgical procedures. He mainly performs external ear reconstruction surgery for congenital microtia and acquired auricular defects, and specializes in the treatment of various external ear deformities (prominent ear, rolled ear, cup ear, cryptotia, cleft earlobe, and accessory auricle) as well as the early treatment of auricular deformities in infants and young children. In aesthetic surgery, he specializes in periorbital surgery and has unique design concepts and understanding of double-eyelid surgery, eye-bag removal, and brow excision.

He has published more than 50 papers in domestic and international journals, led 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project on the etiology of microtia, and participated in 2 national-level research projects.
